The game offers chapter replays as well so you shouldn’t worry about skipping a scene too much.
You can also pause the game to avoid accidental blinking on the metronome parts. Keeping your eyes open can cause your eyes to become bit blurry (as can tears) though. Whenever I wanted to see a scene, I kept my eyes open, there was scene or a two I couldn’t keep them open long enough and accidentally blinked so I skipped the scene (but you do come back to these scenes later). There’s also parts where the game utilizes you to keep your eyes open, and also parts where you are made to close your eyes to just hear things as a part of the story. I feel necesary to point out that you should absolutely have the eye tracking on, it felt like that is how the game is supposed to be played, like an eye exercise.Įven the ferryman tells you in the beginning that you shouldn’t be scared of blinking with the story. I just played through this game, pretty much one sitting, and I loved it.
